The mountains inspire me
Why this adventure into a web store, what’s it all about? I have always created things, through fiber, beads, fabric, almost anything I could get my hands on. Eventually I narrowed my choice of materials down and focused. I was part of a gallery in Idaho Springs when my eldest was very young and then my husband and I bought our own business, the Mount Elbert Lodge. We operated it for nearly 24 years and while there Mt Elbert Designs emerged. I sold through the lodge store and the Shooting Star Gallery in Twin Lakes.
Now, we’ve sold the lodge and retired and Mt Elbert Designs became a business without a home…. till now. Welcome to my store, I hope you will look around and return whenever you need a special gift. Enjoy!,

I've created with fiber all my life and started exploring making bead jewelry as a way to encourage visual creativity in my boys. Well, as usually happens as one offers a pallet of opportunities to one’s children, it wasn't the boys cup of tea but I was hooked!!
That was more than 15 years ago when I started selling my fiber and bead treasures in our business office and then in the Shooting Star Gallery, a seasonal gallery in the village of Twin Lakes Colorado.
Now , as life changes I still want to share my creations with you. I do hope you enjoy my shop and will let me know if you have any questions about any of my products.

My Policies:
*Policy : I have a no-questions-asked return policy and I gladly accept returns. I want you to be completely happy with your purchase.
*Process: Contact me within 7 days of delivery to let me know you are dissatisfied with your purchase and would like to return your item.
To receive a refund of your original purchase price, less shipping costs, I must receive your returned item, undamaged, within 14 business days of original delivery.
*Cancellations: If you have placed an order and wish to cancel the order, contact me right away. If I haven’t shipped yet then I am happy to give you a full refund.
If your purchase has shipped, you will need to wait until it arrives and proceed as for a return.
*Non returnable items: *Personalized items can’t be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.
*I can’t accept returns for digital downloads either.

*You may contact us and request items be put on hold. I’m happy to hold items for you for up to 7 days.
Payments
*Payment: Our online payments are processed by Stripe service, we do not collect or hold your card information on our site. You may also pay using Pay Pal if you prefer.
Returns and Exchanges
*Returns and exchange details:
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, original and return.
*All returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving your purchase. The return of your funds will occur once the returned item is is received by me.
*I endeavor to package all merchandise safely and securely, if your item arrives damaged please contact me for the best possible resolution.
*If you should need to cancel an order that may be done anytime before the order has shipped. After shipping it will be considered a return and will have to follow the refund policy outlined above.

I generally ship within 2 days of your purchase. You will be notified and if there is one, receive a tracking number for your package once it has shipped.
At this time I do not ship international.
